Begin brushing at the ends of the hair, placing your hand a few inches above where you're brushing to hold the hair securely. Brush gently in a downward motion, gradually working your way up toward the clips. Avoid brushing hair when it's dripping wet. Instead, use your fingers to carefully separate knots in wet hair, or use a wide-tooth comb. Be sure not to yank the brush through the hair.

The frequency of washing your clip-ins depends on how often you use them and the amount of product applied. If used frequently, wash them more often using sulfate- and alcohol-free shampoo and conditioner. Lather gently from top to bottom and rinse thoroughly to avoid buildup. Deep condition every 6-8 weeks to seal the cuticle, lock in moisture, and add shine.

Gently squeeze out excess water from the extensions, brush them, and lay them flat on a towel to air dry. Once they are about 80% dry, you can use a blow dryer on a low to medium heat setting. Avoid high heat to prevent damage, and use a heat protectant spray if using heat tools. Pat them with a towel instead of rubbing. Keep them out of direct sunlight to avoid color fading.

Remove extensions before going to sleep. Store in a cool, dry place avoiding direct sunlight.
